Why Flowstate

A Home Built Around Recovery, Not Just Housing

Daily Structure

Set routines — accountability check-ins, nightly breathalyzer testing, and room checks — give residents the consistency that early recovery depends on.

Community That Holds You Accountable

You're not doing this alone. Residents support one another through shared expectations, peer accountability, and a house culture built on respect.

Connected to Treatment

We work closely with residential, intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient treatment programs across Orange County, so your housing supports your clinical care instead of competing with it.

Payment Options

Simple, Transparent Payment

Flowstate Recovery is a private-pay sober living home. We keep our structure simple and transparent.

Private Pay

Weekly/monthly rate covers housing, house management, and program structure. Contact us for current rates.

Sliding Scale

Limited availability for those facing financial hardship; inquire directly to discuss options.

Insurance-Referred Clients

While we don't bill insurance directly, we work closely with outpatient treatment programs (IOP/OP) whose clients often use insurance for clinical services while residing with us for housing.

Our Standards

A Safe, Structured Home

Sober living homes in California are not licensed by the state — housing and clinical treatment are legally separate. Flowstate Recovery maintains its own internal policies, house rules, and accountability systems to ensure a safe, structured environment for every resident.

In Their Words

What Residents Say

Before Flowstate I didn't have anyone checking in on me — I could talk myself into anything. Having the breathalyzer tests and room checks wasn't fun at first, but it's the reason I made it past 90 days.

Mike R., resident for 90+ days

The guys in this house actually hold each other accountable. It's not just a place to sleep, it's people who notice if you're off.

J.T., 6 months sober

My IOP counselor recommended Flowstate, and it made a huge difference having my housing and my treatment actually talk to each other instead of being two separate things.

Anonymous, current resident

Paul, the owner, is always so encouraging, supportive, and welcoming. The house is beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally well kept. It was the perfect environment for me to focus on my goals, work on myself, and make positive changes in my life. I truly appreciated the way Paul ran his house and created such a respectful, supportive atmosphere. I'm very grateful for my experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a positive place to grow and move forward.
